Note to Newcomers: Despite the dates below
giving the message that we are dead and non-functioning, the truth is quite the
opposite…head on over to the par-tay in the forum…right….
02/14/07 – Thanks to
Navyblue007 for pointing out that this main page has not been kept up to
date. In actuality, I’m not really
intending this to be the “hub” page. I
suppose I could configure it to point to the community page…but that would
require an effort. I won’t be updating
this page very often, and newcomers should heed the message above.
Heed, HEEEEED!!!!
12/13/06 – RSVPs
keep coming in for the 1/6/07 LAN party, If you want to come, head on over to
forum and let us know. I hope to soon
have all the Retarded Monkeys/Arena Productions crap all online in a way that
any joe schmoe can get it. Stay
tuned. For now, use these links to get
to the good stuff:
Decade of Death, our 10
year tribute to FPS (first person shooters), covering Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM,
DOOM 2, Duke Nukem, Quake, Quake 2, Half Life, Quake 3: Arena, Unreal
Tournament, No One Lives Forever, Serious Sam, Return to Castle Wolfenstein,
and Battlefield 1942. Music by Megadeth,
Korn, Overseer, and Powerman 5000.
Deathmatch
Classic Tribute, featuring White Zombie, and a lot of rocket
launcher goodness.
Need
for Speed: Right Here, Right Now, a tribute to NFS:
Porsche Unleashed. This video showcases
a blend of intense race footage, coupled with insane crashes and aerial
craziness. Music by Fatboy Slim.
Diablo 2:
Sickness, a tribute to Diablo 2 and its expansion, Lord of
Destruction. The video uses the FMV cut
scenes, the first time I had done this.
Music is “Down with the Sickness” by Disturbed.
12/5/2006 – (2nd Post) I keep
saying this, but GoDaddy freaking rocks.
The Retarded Monkeys community site and forum is up and running…and it
was complete pie. Be sure to join up and
make yourself heard, it’s like a tomb in there right now. A green, gray, and white tomb. Hey, it’s free.
12/5/2006 – I’m not
completely incompetent…or incontinent…whichever one means that I suck, not that
I can’t stop yourself from pooping all over the place. I said I would get some sort of website up
before the LAN party, and here it is.
Since I know almost no HTML, and I don’t have Frontpage from where I am
(all you NightmareWeaver fanboys just shut up, I really don’t care J), this will be very simplistic.
Just a quick bit of info, the site is now proudly hosted on
Godaddy’s servers, as their hosting prices to services are far greater than my
current host (for gamershots.net).
